Nicky’s Second Chance Fund

Countless homeless animals in need pass through the front door of Mt. Pleasant to be loved, honored, and cared for, whatever the cost. Every animal who comes to Mt. Pleasant is spayed or neutered, given all needed shots and microchipped before adoption.

But some animals we save need even higher levels of care. Nicky’s Second Chance Fund earmarks monies to treat animals who have medical needs above and beyond our normal high standards of care. Our caring staff does everything possible to ensure treatment and full recovery for these animals, preparing each one of them for his or her best possible opportunity to finding a forever home.

That’s why the Nicky’s Second Chance Fund was founded. These funds give Mt. Pleasant the needed resources to give every animal the utmost care…no matter the cost.

Nicky’s Second Chance Fund was named after a dog who endured years of abuse and neglect, but found peace and love in her final days at Mt. Pleasant. We honor her memory by using these donations to help get every animal, no matter what its medical needs, into permanent homes as quickly as possible.

Please donate to Nicky’s Second Chance Fund. All our animals in need thank you!
