Give a Holiday Bundle this season to a shelter pet in need. These bundles will provide necessary items to the cats and dogs at Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter. Without a home for the holidays, our animals deserve to experience the magic of the season.
Thank you for your commitment to saving lives, providing the best care, and extending love and compassion to homeless animals.
MPAS provides routine veterinary care for every animal we shelter. There are times when animals need higher levels of care. Nicky’s Second Chance Fund sets donations aside for times when an animal comes to us with medical needs that are above and beyond our normal high standards of care. Nicky’s Second Chance provides funds for life-threatening illnesses such as Parvovirus, seizure disorders, heartworm treatment, and more.
Spay and neuter certainly comes with a cost! We do not have our own surgery suite here at Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter and partner with local veterinarians and hospitals within our community. All of our animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before finding their forever homes. Your purchase of this bundle helps us provide the utmost care for our animals and aids in the continuation of our lifesaving mission.
We rely on donations from our community to feed our animals. Your purchase of this bundle will go towards providing our animals with a full belly and a very happy heart this holiday season.
Living in a shelter environment can be stressful for dogs and cats. Our specifically designed enrichment program provides our animals with something to look forward to each day. This program is vital in keeping our animals healthy and happy while they wait to find loving homes.
Everybody loves a well-trained dog! Each time we handle an animal is an opportunity for us to teach them something. Providing more training for all of our dogs and developing plans for those with challenging behaviors, helps us provide for more successful outcomes when it comes to adoption.
MPAS is (im)patiently awaiting a mama cat’s delivery this holiday season. We also have cats in foster with their babies. Did you know that pregnant and nursing cats eat up to four times as much as they normally do in a day? Mama cats need special care, including a comfortable and roomier space and safe litter for the kittens.
